Deltamethrin powder 50gr

Description : White powder.

Composition : 100 g of the drug contains: deltamethrin - 0.05 g; filler up to 100 g.

Pharmacological properties: The active ingredient of the drug is the synthetic pyrethroid deltamethrin. The mechanism of its action on the body of ectoparasites (insects, lice, ticks, fleas) is that this substance, as a contact poison, affects the nervous system, causing paralysis and death. Deltamethrin causes irreversible activation of sodium channels in the membranes of nerve cells, irreversible depolarization of cell membranes, and blockade of nerve conduction.

Application : To combat ectoparasites of farm animals (cattle, sheep, pigs), domestic animals (dogs) and poultry (chickens):
- ixodid ticks of the family Ixodidae;
- sarcoptoid mites (Sarcoptes suis, S. ovis, S. caprae, S. bovis, S. Canis, psoroptes bovis, P. ovis);
- chicken mites (Dermanyssus gallina), mites of the genus Knemidocoptes (K.mutanus);
- lice (Heamatopinus eurysternus, H. suis, Linognathus vituli, L. ovillus, L. setosus);
- fleas (Ctenocephalidesfelis, C. cam's, Ceratophyllus gallinae);
- lice eaters (Bovicola bovis, B. caprae, Trichodectes cam's);
- gadflies (Hypoderma bovis);
- gadflies (genus Tabanus, Hybomitra, Atylotus, Chrysops, Haematopota);

Dosage : The drug is applied to the skin of animals by dusting in a dose per animal (depending on the intensity of the invasion and the body weight of the animals): cattle - 100-400 g; sheep, goats - 50-200 g; pigs - 50-100 g; dogs - 20-100 g. For better effectiveness, the drug is rubbed with a brush into the deep layers of hair on the neck, back and other parts of the body. Poultry houses are treated against ectoparasitic infestation of chickens at the rate of 50-150 g per 1 m2 in the absence of birds. The bird is treated with a dust spray at the rate of 10-15 g of the drug per head. For preventive purposes, it is recommended to use sand or ash baths with the addition of one part of insecticidal acaricidal powder.

Contraindications : Do not treat animals under 2 months of age, animals with skin diseases, sick or weakened animals.

Cautions : When working with the drug, you must adhere to general safety rules. Animals should be treated with the drug using rubber gloves and a respirator. While working, it is prohibited to eat, drink, or smoke. After work, you need to wash your hands with soap. If the drug gets on the mucous membranes, rinse them with water. Upon contact with the drug, allergic reactions (sneezing, lacrimation) are possible. Containers containing the drug must not be used for household purposes. Wash water after processing containers and protective clothing should not be poured into open reservoirs and rivers, since aquatic fauna is very sensitive to the drug.

Release form : The drug is packaged in plastic bags or polymer bottles of 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 g. Plastic bags of 10 kg, 20 kg.

Storage : In a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, separately from feed, mixed feed, food products at a temperature of 0°C to 35°C.
