Oxytetracycline ointment 1% (eye) 50gr

Description : Yellow or brown-green ointment with a specific odor

Composition : 100 g of the drug contains the active ingredient: oxytetracycline hydrochloride - 1 g.

Pharmacological properties : Has pronounced bactericidal properties. Inhibits the growth and development of many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Application : Used for trachoma (an infectious eye disease that can lead to blindness), conjunctivitis (inflammation of the outer membrane of the eye), blepharitis (inflammation of the edges of the eyelids) and other infectious diseases of the eyes.

Dosage : The ointment is placed behind the lower eyelid 3 times a day.

Contraindications : No

Cautions : None.

Release form : The drug is packaged in glass jars of 60, 150, 250, 1000 ml, plastic jars of 500 ml or plastic tubes of 20, 60, 90 ml.

Storage : In a dark place at a temperature of 5°C to 25°C.

Shelf life : 1 year.
