Application method:

Advantages of candles with propolis

Such a beekeeping product as propolis has long attracted the attention of pharmacists. This is due to its pharmacological action, the content of phenolic compounds in its composition, high antiviral and antimicrobial activity and pronounced anti-inflammatory, capillary-strengthening, adaptogenic and reparative properties. Modern medicine continues to study the properties of propolis with the aim of creating new medicinal forms based on it.

In the complex of treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases in gynecology, proctology and urology, local therapy, in particular rectal-vaginal suppositories (candles), is of great importance. Nowadays, it is not difficult to buy suppositories, but, unfortunately, the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine is mainly represented by imported products made from chemical components. At the same time, herbal suppositories are practically not available in pharmacies. It is even more difficult to find candles that contain natural propolis in a pharmacy. Due to the high cost of propolis, it is often mixed with various fillers (bitumen and other resins), which, of course, negatively affects its quality and properties. • propolis (bee glue) is a beekeeping product that has antifungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties;
• black poplar bud extract – analgesic, antiseptic, phytoncide, bactericidal, antiviral agent;
• chamomile flower extract – has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, local anesthetic properties, accelerates tissue regeneration, has anti-itching and deodorizing effects;
• calendula flower extract is a healing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic agent, under the influence of calendula, inflammatory processes proceed much more easily due to the strengthening of local protective mechanisms;
• essential oil of clary sage - promotes healing, disinfects, relieves inflammation, has a pain-relieving effect;
• beeswax - softens and relieves inflammation, is a source of vitamin A;
• cocoa butter is a natural fat base, has wound-healing and regenerating properties
